It’s Time for a Washing Ma’ Clean!

Cleaning the washing machine, may not often factor into your household clean, but to keep it working to its best, we recommend you follow these easy steps every 2 to 3 months. To Clean the Drum and Hoses Add 2 spoonful’s of bicarbonate of soda into the drawer and ½ a cup of vinegar (white) into the drum. Not that you would believe it with the weather we had last week, however Spring is around the corner, so we thought we would share some of these money saving tips as suggested by the team Refresh your Sponges When your sponges have seen better days, give them a burst of life by nuking them in the microwave. The heat will kill the germs and leave you with a good as new sponge. Simply squeeze some lemon juice onto them and pop them in for 2 minutes, they will come out smelling fresh, and ready for use. Make your own all-purpose cleaner You can use Vinegar as a great multipurpose cleaner for any task from cleaning windows to shifting lime scale. Simply mix equal amounts of vinegar with water.
